POL has developed a number of display illumination solutions for major mobile telecoms and automotive manufacturers. Our design approach and light scattering pattern techniques have enabled us to provide high efficiency display illuminations, with very compact space envelopes, and using the minimum of light sources and electrical power consumption.

The light scattering patterns developed by POL are laser etched on to the surface of the mould tool to provide a robust, repeatable and very cost effective means of optimising the display illumination.
